Graphic card compatibility Question : Which graphic card supports
Pixel Shader 3.0 for the laptop
and where can I buy it in
Kuching? I am using a Pentium 4 - 2.8 GHz
processor with ATI Radeon IGP 345M GFX.

I am afraid that most laptops do
not come with a discrete (non-integrated) graphics card. The
graphics functions on most laptops are
actually handled by the chipset and there is
no way you can upgrade it. Having said that,
there are some new laptops which use
graphic modules that can be upgraded. But
in your case the graphics is controlled by an IGP, which stands for Integrated Graphics
Processor and we highly doubt there's an
upgrade path for it. |
